A Wine Dinner with Steve Beckmen
with artful opening bites from Danvy Pham
On Tuesday, February 3, we’re hosting an intimate wine dinner with Steve Beckmen of Beckmen Vineyards, a family-run estate that has helped shape Santa Barbara County’s Rhône landscape for more than three decades. Beckmen’s wines are known for their restraint and clarity — expressive without excess, deeply rooted in the vineyards they come from.
The evening opens with a visual and sensory prelude: artful Italian crostini by Danvy Pham, a cherished member of the TRG family and a modern renaissance woman. Equal parts cook, artist, and storyteller, Danvy approaches food as a medium — playful, intuitive, and guided by instinct. Her opening bites set the tone for the night: thoughtful, beautiful, and just a little unexpected.
From there, the menu unfolds in step with Beckmen’s Rhône-leaning lineup, moving from brightness and lift to earthy, warming dishes and deeper Rhône wines.
