- Despite the celeb ratio, everyone receives a welcome like family
- Wonderful Italian food and always crowded with neighborhood residents.
One of my all time favorite restaurants. I have been going there ever since it opened. The food is excellent. The ricotta cheesecake taste like my grandmothers from Italy. I have never had anyone not enjoy the meal.
- Stunning menu. If this place ever closes Armageddon will have come
- Excellent Italian food, plus ample star gazing.

On the surface, the wealthy-looking clientele may make Toscana intimidating but there is no "better-than-you" attitude here.
The restaurant is always jam-packed and its long-standing success is probably due to the friendly and attentive staff, who make everyone feel like a star.

Diners are pampered in style at this elegant Brentwood Italian restaurant.
Beaded lampshades and a copper-framed pizza oven cast a warm glow, and the air rings with the buzz of business deals and murmurs of romance. Despite an affluent, high-tipping clientele, the atmosphere remains low-key. Highly efficient servers gesticulate wildly while listing specialties in heavy Italian accents. Menu items include salad with burrata, salmon carpaccio; spinach-ricotta ravioli in pomodoro sauce; and grilled branzino with spinach and potatoes. Dessert features classics like tiramisu and chocolate-covered strawberries.
This traditional trattoria sits in the heart of Brentwood and is always packed. Covered with ceramic jugs and posters of old Italy, the dining room has a rustic decor and low key atmosphere. The wide range of Tuscan dishes are raved about, to the extent that reservations are highly recommended

Fantastic!
The service is the best I have received in 5 years of dining in Los Angeles, I have been back numerous times and it has never faltered. The food range is sublime and each dish better than the last, very fresh home made food and the home made deserts are great. The bar next door provides a great location for an after work drink and snack and the restaurant is warm cosy and classy. They have really created a home from home feel, where they treat every customer as if they were the most important even when dining next to hollywood stars!
I'm not really into writing complementary reviews as I started this account after being treated badly at so many places and needed to let people know......If only more restaurants followed Toscana's example!
Well done, I will continue to return for many years!

Service: Great.
Wine list: Great.
Food: Good to great.
By that I mean the pasta was exquisite but the fish it came with was just okay. The langostino was great. But some of my cooked clams arrived unopened. At least I knew which ones not to eat.
Their cheeseless pizza, however, was stupid good. Bight, snappy tomato sauce, salty capers and anchovy. Perfect crust. I could have just eaten that pretty much all day and been done with it.
I'd go back for sure either way.

Fresh and brightly colored veggies on every table when you sit down? First impressions do go far :) After my first bite of a carrot I was hooked... and after that, the food got better with every bite.
